Overview
This privacy policy describes how the "n8nwha" application ("the App") collects, uses, and protects information when connected to the WhatsApp Business Platform. The App is a personal automation tool that reads incoming WhatsApp messages sent to a connected WhatsApp Business number and, when a message describes a meeting or appointment, automatically creates a corresponding event in a connected Google Calendar.
Information We Collect
- The content of WhatsApp messages sent to the connected number
- The sender’s WhatsApp phone number
- Message timestamps
How We Use Information
Message content is processed to determine whether it describes a meeting or appointment. If so, the App extracts a date, time, and short title and creates an event on a private Google Calendar. Information is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not shared with unrelated third parties.
Third-Party Processors
To provide this functionality, message content is sent to the following processors, each of which handles data under its own privacy policy:
- OpenAI — to interpret message text and extract event details
- Google Calendar — to store the resulting calendar event
- Meta / WhatsApp Business Platform — to transport the message
Data Retention
Message content is processed transiently to create calendar events and is not separately stored by the App beyond standard workflow execution logs, which are periodically cleared.
